A candid and quirky collection of diary entries reflecting the absurdity and surreal moments of life during the early stages of the COVID-19 pandemic
Day 2 - March 14th, 2020
Is it just me or are you also waking up each morning to different stray cats staring at you in bed? I keep forgetting to lock my door.
Ventured out to a ransacked Costco this afternoon to buy some cat food. Instead of my membership card, I accidentally gave the masked greeter my library card. She asked if she could keep it and I said yes. She said she always wanted to read books about traveling to space.
When I got home, I thought about what it would be like to travel with her. Holding hands, we float among a sea of infinite stars surrounded by the cold black abyss. We are behind Neptune when she takes her mask off for me.
We share a can of cat food.
